Since May 2015, the Golden State Warriors have celebrated numerous triumphs at the Toyota Center, but their most notable revelry might have been Thursday night following their 133-110 victory against the Houston Rockets. Amidst Houston's loss, Eason donned a T-shirt with the phrase "Warriors come out to play," a nod to the 1979 film "The Warriors."

"That's pretty lame — especially if you're not even playing," Klay Thompson said after his 29-point performance. "It's one thing if you are out there playing, out there competing and you can back it up. But you're just going to be trolling from the sideline? What are you doing?"

The Rockets' loss marked their third consecutive defeat since their 11-game winning streak ended against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. However, more significantly, it widened the gap between the Rockets and the Warriors to four games for the 10th and final Play-In Spot in the Western Conference.

With only six games remaining in the season, the Rockets would need to win five out of six games to secure a spot in the Play-In Tournament, provided the Warriors suffer a significant downturn in performance.

The disappointing loss prompted coach Ime Udoka to question the team's resilience and competitiveness. Despite his frustration, Udoka hopes that the defeat serves as a valuable lesson that the team can learn from and use to improve in the future.

"I would like to think it will be beneficial to look back on this game and see how we did not rise to the occasion," Udoka said. "Both teams were playing for something. But one team came out more focused and more aware of the situation, and it felt like we didn't.''

Golden State is currently on a six-game winning streak as they strive to solidify their playoff berth.

Both teams will be in action on Friday, with the Warriors heading to Dallas to face the Mavericks, while the Rockets will host the Miami Heat.
