Embiid's Knee Injury: Reassessment Scheduled for Saturday
Joel Embiid, of the Philadelphia 76ers, exited the game against the Orlando Magic late in the first half, visibly affected by his left knee, which had been previously injured. Despite returning for the second half, he appeared to struggle at times.
According to 76ers head coach Nick Nurse, Joel Embiid had a positive response to his injury scare and was able to participate in a full practice with the team on Saturday, as reported by PHLY Sports' Kyle Neubeck. However, Neubeck noted that it was only a walkthrough session.
Since returning from surgery to repair a torn meniscus on April 2, Embiid has been a key player, averaging 30.4 points per game in 30.6 minutes of play. The 76ers faced difficulties without Embiid, dropping to the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. However, since his return, they have won all five games and climbed to sixth place.

The 76ers are currently enjoying a seven-game winning streak. Their final regular-season game is against the Brooklyn Nets. There's a possibility they'll rest Embiid to ensure he's fully prepared and healthy for the play-in tournament. If they secure a win and both Orlando and Indiana lose their last games, they could potentially enter the playoffs without needing the play-in, which would greatly improve their position.
