Josh Hart kicks Javonte Green in the head and immediately gets ejected

Josh Hart was ejected from the New York Knicks' match on Friday against the Chicago Bulls after he ended up kicking Javonte Green in the head during the first quarter.

According to Yahoo Sports, Hart and his Knicks teammates were pretty shocked by the ejection. By watching the video below, you can see that this was very clearly an accident. Regardless, the officials had to call it as Flagrant 2's are always called, regardless of intention.

It was a rough play for the Knicks's chances in the game. They ended up losing to the Bulls by a score of 108-100. While the Knicks tried to rally back, losing Hart proved to be a huge factor in the team's loss.






Following the game, official Scott Foster spoke to a press pool where he revealed why Josh Hart had to be ejected. This is where he reiterated that intention never matters in these cases.
