Mike Conley cleared the air after the altercation

The Minnesota Timberwolves faced the struggling Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night. Despite playing the second game of a back-to-back, they secured a hard-fought 101-86 victory. However, late in the game, Mike Conley inadvertently sparked some controversy.

In the closing seconds, Conley's three-pointer pushed the Wolves over 100 points, angering Nets' Schroder who shoved Conley, sparking an altercation. McDaniels then stepped in, shoving Schroder in defense.

Four technical fouls were issued upon review, including Schroder and McDaniels. Conley, who refrained from retaliation, avoided a technical. Despite his shot possibly breaking an unwritten rule, Conley defended his action in context. Postgame, the veteran point guard clarified his altercation with Schroder
