LeBron James and Michael Jordan are officially two of the richest athletes in the entire world, although fans can probably guess that Jordan is worth more than LeBron.
According to the new Billionaires list crafted by Forbes, Michael Jordan has a net worth of $3.2 billion, while LeBron has a net worth of $1.2 billion. LeBron has earned his net worth from a plethora of endorsement deals, including his lifetime contract with Nike. Furthermore, he has made money from his playing career. As for Jordan, he has made billions thanks to his Nike offshoot Jordan Brand. Not to mention, he used to own the Charlotte Hornets, and he even has his own NASCAR team.In a report from Spotrac, it was revealed that Michael Jordan made only $93.6 million throughout his NBA career. LeBron James previously revealed that he doesn't think his career will go on for much longer. However, he has also made it crystal clear that he would like to play with his sons Bronny and Bryce. That would mean he would be playing at least three more seasons in the NBA. If you are a Lakers fan, you can't help but hope that is the case.
For now, LeBron is looking to win his fifth NBA title. The Los Angeles Lakers are ninth in the Western Conference standings and would have to make it out of the play-in round to secure a spot in the postseason.
