In Wednesday's game between the Bulls and the Jazz, an altercation occurred involving Bulls assistant coach Chris Fleming and Jazz forward John Collins.

Bulls assistant coach Chris Fleming escapes league discipline despite his involvement in an altercation with John Collins during Wednesday's game, as confirmed by Coach Billy Donovan.

Though technical fouls were issued, the Bulls managed to secure the win. Donovan acknowledges the unfortunate physical confrontation but maintains that Fleming's intentions were in the right place.

He later stated :

"I didn't get all the different camera angles on the situation but certainly I think Chris was trying to defuse the situation and it ultimately escalated the situation. That's the unfortunate part, But I think it's a lesson for us from the perspective that we've just got to worry about controlling our bench and our guys. Certainly I don't think Chris' intentions were ever to be physical."
