New Orleans' Superstar Zion Williamson Frank Comments On Win Versus The Clippers
Zion Williamson, the standout of the New Orleans Pelicans, displayed his dominance against the LA Clippers on Friday night, tallying 34 points and leading his team to a season series triumph over the Clippers. Additionally, he delivered a highlight-reel moment with a stellar buzzer-beater at the end of the third quarter.
After the game, Williamson reflected on the victory and securing the season series against LA by saying:
"It was on our mind, in a sense that every game matters. If we want to be in a good spot with the standings, we have to win every game, so that's the mindset. [...] Communication and being physical. Paul George and Kawhi [Leonard], they're both elite shot-makers, so they're going to hit some shots, but just being physical and still communicating was the game plan."

Dominating the second half, Williamson scored 23 of his 34 points during that period. When questioned about this, the Pelicans star remarked,
"I'm driven by competition. My aim is to win, plain and simple."
