Karl-Anthony Towns reportedly ahead of schedule in his recovery

Karl-Anthony Towns has been out of the Minnesota Timberwolves' lineup with a torn meniscus, however it appears as though he could be returning to the team's lineup, sooner rather than later.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, back on March 12, Towns got surgery to repair his torn meniscus. It was a significant blow to his season, especially since the Timberwolves were in the midst of vying for the top spot in the Western Conference. Since his injury, they have slid to third, and their potential postseason matchups are getting less and less favorable.

However, it seems as though there is a bit of hope coming through for Timberwolves fans. During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show,,] Shams Charania revealed that Karl-Anthony Towns could very well be back in the lineup before the playoffs start.






As you can see in the clip above, Charania revealed that he thinks the Timberwolves could go all the way this season. However, that is not going to be an easy task. They have to get through a Western Conference that boasts the talents of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Clippers, and many more. Only time will tell if this T-Wolves team is ready for the show.
