Jimmy Butler of Miami and Naji Marshall of New Orleans have each been suspended for one game following their involvement in an on-court altercation, as announced by the NBA on Sunday. The incident took place during Friday night's game between the Heat and the Pelicans.

Additionally, Thomas Bryant of Miami and Jose Alvarado of New Orleans have both received three-game suspensions for fighting and leaving the bench area. Nikola Jovic of Miami has also been suspended for one game for leaving the bench area and joining the altercation, according to the league.

Butler, who disagreed with his ejection, will face a significant loss of almost $260,000 in base salary due to his suspension. The remaining four players will collectively incur approximately $115,000 in financial penalties as a result of their suspensions.
