LeBron James is one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA, however, as he gets older, it is becoming clearer than ever that an NBA retirement is imminent.
In fact, just a few days ago, we reported on how LeBron James is already thinking about calling it quits. LeBron James told reporters "I don't know when that door will close as far as when I retire, but I don't have much time left," according to Mike A Scotto.Overall, this was a sad revelation, albeit one that NBA fans have been expecting for years. He is in his 21st season and is 39 years old. He has played for the Miami Heat, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Los Angeles Lakers. According to a report from Shams Charania, it seems as though people around the NBA only expect LeBron to play for another season or two.
"Shams: LeBron James is expected to play one or two more years."

If this is true, then there is a real chance he may never get to play with his sons, Bronny and Bryce. Currently, Bryce is in high school while Bronny is at USC. Bronny has not made an impact in college this season, and for now, it doesn't seem like he is NBA material.
One has to wonder what the NBA will look like without LeBron James. He has been the face of the league for many years at this point. However, the NBA will have to look towards a young face to carry that torch. There are plenty of guys who can do it, but it won't be an easy burden to bear.
