Bronny's agent revealed an update on the 2024 draft
USC newcomer Bronny James seems set to enter the 2024 NBA draft, with his choice seemingly swayed by the teams expressing interest rather than the expected draft order. Rich Paul, representative and longstanding ally of LeBron James, provided perspective on the factors guiding the younger James' decision-making.
"I don't value a young player getting into the lottery as much as I do getting him on the right team in the right developmental situation." - Rich Paul
Paul further stated that the decision will be influenced by the teams' interest rather than the draft order.
The 19-year-old's performance has been inconsistent, averaging 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 37.4 percent from the field and 27.5 percent from three. Despite limited playing time, he only attempted one shot against Washington on Saturday. Considering his delayed college debut due to health issues, he might opt to return for his sophomore year if no NBA team suits him, allowing for a full offseason and potentially improved shooting.
