Stephen Curry's Mother, Sonya Has Filed For Divorce From Dell Curry After 33 Years Of Marriage

Stephen Curry and Seth Curry's parents were often seen watching their NBA games together.

Sonya Curry and Dell Curry were supportive of their sons games wearing Steph and Seth's jerseys while they're watching their games. The two might not be seen watching their sons' games together as they're reportedly going their separate ways.

According to TMZ sports, Sonya Curry has filed for divorce from his husband Dell Curry. After being married for
33 years, the two 'called it quits'

Karen Mizoguchi and Elizabeth Leonard of People Magazine shared a statement from Sonya and Dell Curry in their recent article on the divorce.


"After exploring a trial separation over the past year and much thoughtful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage. As this comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus and desire is for our family's continued happiness," Sonya and Dell, 58, tell PEOPLE. "We are so thankful for all the many blessings and successes! We stay committed to and supportive of our children and grandchildren and will remain on connected paths. We ask that our privacy be respected and prayer for our family as we move forward."

The 55-year-old Sonya was the one to put in the paperwork back on June 14 in North Carolina according to the court records. The divorce is still ongoing but the reason for their split is still unclear.

The two married each other in 1988.
