The Orlando Magic Has Completed A Major Move
The Orlando Magic and head coach Jamahl Mosley have reached an agreement on a four-year contract extension, extending Mosley's tenure through the 2027-28 season.
Throughout his tenure as head coach of the Orlando Magic for over two seasons, Mosley has achieved a record of 93-136. Under his guidance, the Magic have displayed consistent improvement, advancing from 22 wins in the 2021-22 season to 34 wins in the previous season.
Presently, Orlando has attained 37 victories this season. Embracing a defensive-oriented approach has significantly contributed to their success, reflected in their current position as the 4th-ranked team in Defensive Rating this season. This mindset shift has propelled them to the summit of the Eastern Conference standings.
The Magic are actively pursuing their first playoff appearance since 2020, positioning themselves as contenders as they prepare to compete on Tuesday, currently holding the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference.
