Cole Anthony was Magic's leading scorer versus the Warriors
Despite the Orlando Magic's tough 101-93 loss to the Warriors, Cole Anthony showcased his brilliance on both ends of the court. Even with Draymond Green's early ejection, the Warriors managed to secure the win. Anthony, however, delivered an impressive performance, tallying 26 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal in 32 minutes of play. His scoring prowess off the bench was particularly crucial as Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, and the rest of the Magic starters struggled to find their shot. Anthony has been displaying consistent form lately, recording double-digit points in his last four games and maintaining an average of 12.0 points on 46.2% shooting, along with 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game throughout March.
Despite their recent loss, the Magic sit in the 5th position in the Eastern Conference with a respectable 42-30 record. Their performance has been marked by a strong defensive rating (2nd) and ranking 4th in steals, compensating for their lower standing in shooting efficiency. Although currently out of the play-in tournament picture, the Magic's playoff hopes remain alive. However, they must address their recent 2-game losing streak and maintain consistency to secure a spot in the postseason.OFF THE COURT
In recent weeks, Cole Anthony was honored as the recipient of the 2023-24 Rich & Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the community as an Orlando Magic player. This prestigious award comes with a $20,000 grant from the DeVos family, which Anthony has chosen to allocate to two charitable organizations: Vibrant Families and CrossTown 119.

''This stuff is important because it's bigger than basketball,» Anthony said. «Basketball obviously is a big part of our lives, but there are other aspects to our lives – whether that's our family, trying to give back to the community, give back to people who are less fortunate than us. Everyone on this team does their part to help do it.''
In his fourth season with the Magic, the 23-year-old Anthony has consistently devoted his off-court time to serving the Central Florida community, aligning with the Magic's commitment to excellence both on and off the court. Through his efforts and the establishment of the 50 Ways Foundation, Anthony aims to inspire, empower, and mentor youth by offering them new opportunities and resources for success. His dedication was recently recognized when he became the 20th player in franchise history to receive the Rich & Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award. Among his teammates, Anthony joins Jonathan Isaac (2019-20), Markelle Fultz (2021-22), and Wendell Carter Jr. (2022-23) as recipients of this esteemed honor.
Vibrant Families provides support to at-risk and fatherless young men aged 10-19 in Central Florida through programs like The Legacy Club, which offers mentoring, personal development, and new experiences, and The Better Together Partnerships, which focus on fostering community collaborations.
CrossTown 119 creates a Gospel-centered environment where individuals are embraced and supported. The organization currently operates a private school, an after-school program, and a men's discipleship program.
Both organizations received $10,000 each from Anthony's generous donation.
What made Monday's bowling fundraiser even more meaningful for Anthony was the presence of all his Magic coaches and teammates, who participated in various games and a silent auction.
