PJ Tucker Finds Himself in an Unfortunate Situation

PJ Tucker is not happy to be with the Los Angelas Clippers. He was part of the trade that sent a disgruntled James Harden to the Clippers from the Philadelphia 76ers. Tucker, who was happy on the sixer, did not ask for the trade and is not seeing the same playing time on the Clippers team as he was on the 76ers.
The Clippers, with all of their superstars, prioritize offense over defense. PJ Tucker is a defensive standout player, who does not seem to fit the mold in LA. Tucker will not accept a buyout at this time.«I feel like I still got a lot to contribute to a team to be able to win, whether that's here or somewhere else,» PJ Tucker told ClutchPoints in an exclusive interview back in December. «I know myself, my worth. I know what I bring. I know what I've brought. I know what I can continue to bring. And with that, I want to be able to go to a good team that I can be able to help that.»
This has been a frustrating season for the 38-year-old veteran. He was hoping to find a new home at the trade deadline after voicing his frustration with over two months prior to the deadline. That did not materialize and only further Tuckers frustration.
«I feel like I shouldn't have to go through this. I didn't ask to be here. I didn't ask for and I didn't demand a trade to be here.»
