Steve Kerr To Step Down as USA Head Coach
Steve Kerr is most recently known for being the head coach of the greatest NBA dynasty in the modern era. Since taking up the role in 2014, Kerr has guided the Warriors to 4 championships and 5 NBA Finals appearances, and due to this success, he even earned the opportunity to coach the United States national team.

On top of his NBA accolades, Kerr also has an Olympic gold medal from Tokyo 2020, where he was an assistant to Gregg Popovich. Kerr then went on to take over the head coaching role from Popovich once he stepped down in 2021.
Team USA unfortunately finished without a medal at this past summer's FIBA World Cup as they finished 4th overall. With this in mind, Kerr has an opportunity for redemption in next year's Summer Olympics in Paris.
Last Dance
Many fans attributed the failure of Team USA this summer to their decision not to field their best possible team, as many notable stars opted out after a long and grueling NBA season. However, this will not be the case at the Olympics. It has been reported as a "Last Dance" for many high-profile players, such as LeBron James, who is allegedly recruiting a superteam for the tournament.
It seems that, like many of the players, Kerr is set to make this next tournament his last as well. He has officially declared that after the 2024 Olympics, he will be resigning from Team USA.
