Jamal Murray returns to Nuggets and helps them destroy the Hawks

Jamal Murray had been nursing a knee injury, however, on Saturday, he returned to the Denver Nuggets and helped them blow out a struggling Atlanta Hawks team.

According to Clutch Points, Murray was able to get 16 points, six assists, and three rebounds in his minutes-restricted return. Murray had missed quite a few games in a row, so there is no doubt he needed a bit of a warm-up game to get him back into the swing of things.

He definitely got some help from his teammates in this one. Nikola Jokic came through with 19 points and even logged another triple-double. Meanwhile, Michael Porter Jr. had 20 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had another 24. It was a fantastic outing for the team, and it led to a 142-110 victory. It was yet another demonstration of how this Nuggets team is on a different level.





As it stands, the Denver Nuggets are first in the entire Western Conference, despite a bit of a slow start to the season. As it stands, they look as though they might be the favorites to win it all this year. If a team wants to make the NBA Finals out West, they will have to go through Denver. Considering Jokic and Murray's chemistry, that might prove to be impossible.
