Grant Williams Issues a Statement About His New Team
As the Hornets made adjustments during the trade deadline, they recently added Grant Williams to their roster. In his debut game, he contributed to their first win in the last 10 games, breaking their losing streak.
Former players around the league commented that the Hornets lacked a winning culture, but Williams had a completely different perspective."It's great to get a win for the city and play for the jersey that's across your chest, not on your back. Everybody touched the ball, we trusted one another."
The Hornets currently sit 13th in the Eastern Conference and are aiming for a comeback following several trades. They've reaffirmed their commitment to Miles Bridges despite trade rumors. With William's addition, they hope to bolster their defense, currently ranked 30th in defensive rating.
