Vanessa Bryant unveiled plans for three statues commemorating Kobe outside the Lakers' arena.

What could be more remarkable than one Kobe Bryant statue? Try three. At an impressive statue ceremony on Thursday, Vanessa Bryant surprised everyone by announcing that two additional Kobe statues will be erected to honor the Los Angeles Lakers legend.

"Because fans all over the world and the City of Angels loved Kobe so much, he will have three statues in front of the arena, also known as 'The House That Kobe Built, One wearing the number eight, one with our beautiful daughter Gianna, and one wearing the number 24," Vanessa said.

The news of Kobe being the sole Laker with multiple statues outside the arena caught many by surprise. As arguably the greatest Laker of all time, it's a fitting tribute for someone who spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the franchise, securing five championships along the way. Kobe's remarkable stats and contributions to the team solidify his place in Lakers history, with his legacy extending beyond the basketball court. The decision to depict both his iconic jersey numbers, 8 and 24, on one statue, along with a tribute to his daughter Gianna, reflects the profound impact he had both as a player and as a family man. While the unveiling dates for the additional statues remain unknown, the announcement marks another milestone in honoring Kobe's enduring legacy.
