Warriors' Draymond Green Has Hidden Agenda For Playing on Team USA
Draymond Green is currently fighting hard for Team USA basketball at the Tokyo Olympics. But apparently, he doesn't just have his eyes on the gold medal. He also has them on next season with the Golden State Warriors.
Speaking with the Hoop Collective podcast, reporter Brian Windhorst said that Green is attempting to woo some of the star-caliber players on Team USA and convince them to join the Warriors.«The rumor out of Team USA is that Draymond is doing work. That's all I'm gonna say. The team-building is that Draymond is doing work.»
If Draymond really is trying to bolster the Warriors roster right now, he has a lot of powerful NBA talent to pull from. Damian Lillard, Zach LaVine, Jrue Holiday, and Jayson Tatum are just some of the names that are hooping it up over in Tokyo. Can you imagine if Green is able to actually convince one of them to join the Warriors? There has already been talk of Damian Lillard heading down south to the Bay Area. Perhaps some sweet-talking from Draymond Green at the Olympics is just what Dame needs to be convinced.
