Tyler Herro Likely To Be Traded By Miami Heat This Offseason
Tyler Herro has been amazing for the Miami Heat for his first two years in the league. Herro averaged 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 43/38/83 shooting split. He was also named a member of NBA all rookie second team in last year.
Herro has been a crucial part of Heat's success even in the playoffs where they reached the NBA Finals last year but fell short against the Lebron James-led Los Angeles Lakers. This playoffs was different as Herro struggled on playing, scoring just 9.3 points per game on 32% shooting from the field and 14% from behind the arc. The Heat were swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round.According to Ethan Skolnick of Five Reasons Sports Network, there's a 75 percent or more that Herro will be traded this offseason.
"I have now heard that there's a 75 percent chance or better that he (Herro) is traded this offseason. In fact, when I've thrown out 75 percent, several league sources, they've told me that's low," says Ethan Skolnick of Five Reasons Sports Network.
Last January, the Heat had a chance to get James Harden in a package centered on Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson and multiple picks but the negotiations died. That trade would've the Heat one of the title favorites.
