Steve Kerr on Stephen Curry and 2024 Paris Olympics: "He's the best shooter who ever lived"
Steph Curry has never won an Olympic gold medal. That's sort of amazing when you think of all the other feats he's accomplished in his historic career.
But when the 2024 Paris Olympics come around, Curry will be 36. Does that mean he will be too old to suit up in the red, white, and blue? Not according to his coach, Steve Kerr. Speaking with Marc Stein's Substack, Kerr says that Curry is "the best shooter who ever lived" and also added that he will be a great choice for the next Team USA.
«Steph can absolutely play on the Olympic team three years from now.»
It's hard to argue with Kerr. Curry just had one of the best seasons of his career so if he is even playing remotely close to that in 2024, Team USA would be lucky to have him. He still has a good chance at winning Olympic gold. Hell, he still has a good chance of winning a few more championship rings too.
