Steve Kerr Furious Over Suns Noisy Arena

Following their seventh loss in eight games, the Warriors have now dropped two games below .500. Head coach Steve Kerr recently addressed their latest defeat, expressing anger and providing a rather unusual excuse for the team's performance.

After ending their six-game losing streak in the previous match, the Warriors aimed to regain their form. They've faced challenges this season, with Curry missing a couple of games and Draymond Green currently suspended. However, their struggles persisted as they suffered a loss in Phoenix, finding themselves in a lot of foul trouble throughout the game.

In various aspects of their matchup, the Suns and Warriors were evenly matched. They were identical in rebounding and recorded similar statistics in turnovers and field goal percentage. However, the stark difference came in personal fouls.


The Warriors grappled with fouls throughout the game, tallying 34 compared to the Suns' 22. This issue was emphasized in the second quarter when Chris Paul, playing against his former team, was ejected. Consequently, the Suns received 23 more free throw opportunities than the Warriors, which significantly impacted the final score of 123-115.

Dealing with such tough officiating, it's natural for the Warriors to feel more than a bit frustrated. This sentiment was particularly evident in their head coach's post-match comments.

Following the loss, Kerr attributed the noisy environment of the Suns' arena as a factor that disrupted his team's communication. While this could potentially contribute to their frequent fouls, it's undeniably one of the more unusual and amusing excuses in NBA history.
