Although some people thought that Stephen Curry might possibly venture away from the Golden State Warriors in favor of another NBA team, it seems that was never a real possibility. Furthermore, Curry just signed a massive deal with the Warriors, extending his contract for four more years and earning him a boatload of money in the process.

You read that right, Steph Curry is going to make more than $200 million to keep playing for Golden State. As Woj noted, that makes him the first NBA player in history to sign two $200 million-plus contracts in his career. That's quite the feat.

This is music to the ears of Golden State fans. The team has struggled over the last couple of years, mostly due to losing Klay Thompson because of injury. However, Curry has been in fine form. In fact, his work last season had some people saying he earned a third MVP trophy, although that eventually went to Giannis in Milwaukee.

There is no doubt that Curry is still in his prime. This latest contract extension is a lot of money but Curry is definitely worth it.
