Sign and Trade Deal Imminent for Deandre Ayton

Kevin Durant put a pause on the NBA free agency market and where players want to sign or get traded too.

The Phoenix Suns are rumoured to be KD's preferred destination once he requested the trade.

For that to be possible, Deandre Aytons situation has to be figured out before General Manager James Jones can make his move for KD. According to Brian Windhorst he mentions that a sign and trade deal is very close to happening with Deandre Ayton and the Indiana Pacers.




The Pacers cleared some cap space when they dealt Malcolm Brogdon to the Celtics, and now rumours are that the Pacers are also trying to trade Myles Turner, to make way for Ayton.


This feels like a big domino effect, once the Suns deal Ayton, they will then be able to trade for KD and the Pacers will then be able to trade Turner.

Who knows?

What if the only real chance of the Suns acquiring KD is by using Ayton in the trade.

An interesting couple of weeks are coming ahead.
