Shocking current Superstar ranked top 10 All time Center

Year by year, ESPN compiles lists and player rankings made up of the opinions of all its expert analysts, as well as former players. Shockingly, one current NBA superstar has managed to break into the most recent list of the top 10 all-time centers.

After winning Finals MVP and carrying the Denver Nuggets to their first-ever championship, Nikola Jokic has managed to earn himself the 9th spot on ESPN's list. The Joker already holds the record for most triple-doubles among centers and has the 5th most MVP and Finals MVP awards. On top of this, he also records over 2 more assists per game than any of the other centers featured on the list, which puts him on track to become the all-time leader for assists at his position.

It is still early in Jokic's career to be awarded such notoriety, as he is still only 28 years old and has played roughly half as many games as the other players ahead of him on this list. With this being said, he could manage to improve his positioning and become regarded as one of the top 5 centers of all time at his current rate.

Despite losing out on MVP to Joel Embiid last season, there is certainly an argument that Jokic is currently the best player in the world right now. He has won 2 out of the last 3 MVPs and is ranked 1st in thetop 5 MVP candidates for next season. He also currently reigns as the Finals MVP and will be looking to win a second consecutive championship next season.

His dominating run of form saw him lead the entire NBA last season in player efficiency, true shooting percentage, win shares, and both offensive and defensive plus-minus. This highlights how effective Jokic has been in all capacities.
