San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls Agree to Sign-And-Trade Deal
After spending three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, NBA star DeMar Derozan has agreed to sign with the Chicago Bulls after agreeing to a three-year, $85 million deal.
Spurs and Bulls are working for a sign-and-trade deal in order for the Bulls to sing DeRozan. The deal will be DeRozan for Thad Young, Al Farouq Aminu, future first round pick and two future second round picks.
DeRozan spent the past three seasons with the Spurs failing to enter the playoffs for the past two seasons. Last season. the 6'7 forward averaged 21.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 33.7 minutes per game.
The Bulls have been active this free agency, acquiring Lonzo Ball via sign-and-trade deal with New Orleans Pelicans and signing Alex Caruso.
