San Antonio Spurs Reportedly Turned Down Potential Trade For Ben Simmons
The Philadelphia 76ers have been offering Ben Simmons to almost every NBA team. The most recent one is to San Antonio Spurs.
The Ringer's Kevin O'Conner reported on 'The Mismatch' podcast that the San Antonio Spurs turned down a proposed trade for Ben Simmons by the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers want four first-round picks, three pick swaps and a young player from the Spurs in exchange for Ben Simmons. O'Conner said that the Sixers asking price for Simmons is too high.
"There's so much stuff floating out there right now about the Sixers having outrageous demands like wanting four first-round draft picks, and three pick swaps, and a young player from the Spurs they say now...All these deals you hear about are outrageous. Nobody will do it for Ben Simmons."
O'Conner added that neither the Spurs nor any other team will be willing to give that up for Ben Simmons.
