ON THIS DAY: Paul George Suffered a Gruesome Leg Injury During Team USA Scrimmage (VIDEO)

On this day, seven years ago, Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury during Team USA scrimmage.

On a fast break play, George pursued James Harden in transition defense, then landed awkwardly against the stanchion, at which point a replay from clearly showed his leg fracturing.


It's been sever years since George's gruesome leg injury but he has beaten the odds and made a huge comeback on his basketball career.


PG13 proved his haters wrong and made a huge playoff performance for the Clippers this season leading them to their first ever Conference Finals in franchise history. He averaged 26.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1 steal in 19 games he played in the playoffs.

The Clippers fall short in their campaign as they have to play without their main man, Kawhi Leonard.
