NBA announces two additions to the All-Star game roster
The Toronto Raptors will ultimately have representation at the NBA All-Star game on Sunday, February 18, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Initially not selected, forward Scottie Barnes has been called up for the first time to represent the Eastern Conference, filling in for injured players.
Along with Trae Young, the point guard for the Atlanta Hawks, he will compensate for the absences of Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers and Julius Randle from the New York Knicks.This marks Scottie Barnes' first selection to this prestigious game, now in his third season. After 50 games, he boasts stats of 20.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists, showing improvement from his first two years.
