NBA Analyst: "If Russell Westbrook And Carmelo Anthony Can Get Rings Alongside LeBron James, It Will Be Spectacular"

The Los Angeles Lakers did a couple of big free agency moves last week by trading for superstar Russell Westbrook and signing former scoring champion and LeBron James friend, Carmelo Anthony.

Carmelo is now 37 years old while Westbrook is 32. Both have impressive career but they yet to add a ring on their resume.

At their age, specially for Carmelo, time is running out as ‘Father Time' is already catching up.

Fox Sports' Nick Wright talks about the chance of Russ and Melo winning their first NBA ring with LeBron James.


In an episode of ‘First Things First', Wright said:

"If Russell Westbrook And Carmelo Anthony Can Get Rings Alongside LeBron James, It Will Be Spectacular"


Wright then followed up his statement on his show with a tweet.

"Melo is one of my favorite players ever. Russ is one of my favorite players ever. And now LeBron, my favorite player ever, gets to try to help them do the one thing they've never done: Win an NBA Championship. I can't wait to see how it unfolds."


LeBron is a four-time NBA champion now and is gunning for his fifth this season. With a healthy AD and LeBron and the addition of Westbrook and Carmelo, the Lakers could make a deep run again into the playoffs. Can the Lakers bring back the Larry O'Brien trophy in LA this year?
