Myles Turner breaks the internet and tells Woj he wants to be a Laker.

The Indiana Pacers are clearly looking to move away from their star forward Myles Turner who is heading into his last year of his deal.

It all started when the Pacers offer sheeted Phoenix Suns centre Deandre Ayton last summer but the Suns later matched it and decided to keep Ayton. From then, it was pretty clear that the Pacers are truly looking beyond Turner and don't see him in their future plans.

Turner has been rumoured to be on the Lakers watchlist alongside Buddy Hield. During the offseason, it was rumoured that the Lakers had the opportunity to trade for Turner but the asking price was too steep. The Lakers dont want to let go of their remaining 2 first rounders that they have (2027,2029).


Earlier today, Myles Turner appeared on the The Woj Pod and shared his thoughts regarding the Lakers interest in him.



This is huge, Turner just put so much pressure on the Pacers, making it clear that he also does not want to continue with the franchise that drafted him.

He is looking for a new challenge in Los Angeles, which is to help Lebron and AD get their second championship with the Lakers.
