Myles Turner has been doing excellent work for the Indiana Pacers, creating an average of 12 points, 6 rebounds, one assist and 3 blocks a game. In fact, he led the league in blocks per game twice in his career. To call him a defensive powerhouse is an understatement.

Now one of the biggest teams in the NBA might be aiming for him. Kevin O'Connor reports that the Golden State Warriors have been having trade discussions about Turner.

«They are having trade conversations I have not seen reported that—I believe I had it in my story—that they've had some conversations with the Pacers. The Pacers have been one of the more active teams. The name that I've heard involved in those conversations is Myles Turner.»

If the Warriors landed Turner, he would immediately give them a huge defensive boost. It would come at a perfect time because the Warriors are about to welcome back Klay Thompson next season, reigniting their hopes of winning another championship. Turner could be a large part of that, alongside Thompson, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green.

The Warriors feel this close to being a Finals contender again. Is Turner the missing piece?
