It's no secret that the Philadelphia 76ers are trying to trade Ben Simmons. It's also no secret that they don't have a lot of options since Simmons isn't the most wanted star in the NBA, to put it gently.

But we have a better idea of some of his possible landing spots, thanks to Sam Amick of The Athletic:

"One source close to the situation handicapped Miami, Toronto and Washington as the most likely landing spots."

There is a lot to keep in mind here. For starters, any trade with Washington will have to wait until the Wizards' Bradley Beal decides if he is staying or going. If he does move, he might head to Philly, who would send Simmons in return. However, if Beal decides to stick it out with the Wiz, they sure as heck aren't getting Simmons.


Each of those three teams has some pretty promising players they could send to Philadelphia. There is a good chance that the 76ers could come out of any potential trade with a much stronger team built around Joel Embiid. Now we just have to see if any of them want to take a chance on Simmons.
