In 2013, Michael Jordan has an interview with American broadcaster Ahmad Rashad.

He was asked by the legendary reporter on who will be his pick? Kobe or LeBron.

At that time, the best players are Kobe Bryant who has four NBA championships already and LeBron James who just won a back-to-back NBA championships with the Miami Heat.

Jordan answered Rashad's question:

"That's a tough one. I'd say... Kevin Durant. Nah, I'm kidding," MJ replied while laughing.

Jordan then became serious when he was explaining the difference between LeBron and Kobe.

"In terms of dominance in the game of basketball at this stage, it's LeBron. Championship-wise, it's Kobe," Jordan continued. "He wants it so bad, he's willing to go to the extreme, guarding a point guard at the age of 34 for 38 minutes, 40 minutes... It is what it is, he's cursed as much as I am. If I had to pick between the two, that'd be a tough choice, but 5 (championships) beat one."

He emphasized why one should be considered better than the other.

MJ picked the late great Kobe Bryant. Kobe had the edge because he has more title's than LeBron. He also talked about the mentality of Kobe and his hunger for championships even at the age of 34, Kobe was giving it all on the floor.

Fast forward to the present time, LeBron is also competing at the age of 36 years old, winning an NBA championship last year at the age of 35.
