Manu Ginobili Returns to the San Antonio Spurs

According to Marc Stein, San Antonion Spurs legend Manu Ginobili is returning to the team. While many fans would love to see Ginobili play again, he is returning strictly as a "Special Advisor to Basketball Operations".

The Spurs haven't been performing nearly as well as they used to. In the last season, their record was 33-39, leaving them in 10th place in the Western Conference.

Ginobili is a four-time NBA champ with the Spurs and is also a two-time NBA All-Star. While it isn't entirely clear just what he will be doing behind the scenes with the Spurs, his wisdom, knowledge, and basketball know-how will prove valuable as the team attempts to rank higher in the Western Conference.
