Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings Discussed A Blockbuster Trade

According to Shams Charania, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings have discussed a trade that would send Kyle Kuzma to the Kings in exchange for Buddy Hield.


Hield has career averages of 16.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. In 5 seasons, he has shooting averages of 44/41/86 split.

Kuzma, meanwhile, has played four season in the NBA and won a championship with the Lakers last year. The 6'10 forward has averages of 15.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 276 games he played in the regular season. He shot 45% from the field, 34% from behind the arc and 73% from the charity stripe.


Kuzma just recently signed a three-year, $40 million contract extension with the Lakers last December. Hield, on the other hand, will be on the second year of his four-year, $94 million contract extension signed with the Kings in 2019.
