Kyle Kuzma On What Is his Mentality For Next Season: "Like A Pitbull With No Leash."
After being traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to the Washington Wizards, Kyle Kuzma could have a fresh start in Washington.
Kuzma has a poor performance last year averaging 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He shot 44% from the field, 36% from behind the arc and 69% from the charity stripe.Kuzma struggled playing behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis who play both forwards position like him. Even after Anthony Davis went down with a groin injury in the playoffs, Kuzma didn't step up in the place of Davis.
In Lakers' first round playoff series against the Phoenix Suns, the 6'10 forward just averaged 6.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 21.5 minutes of action. He shot a poor 29% from the field and 17% from the three point land.
The new Lakers' forward recently had question and answer portion on his Twitter account while he was on a plane.
He was asked by a fan on Twitter.
"what's ur mentality going into this new season?"
The former NBA champion responded with a tough answer.
"Like a pitbull with no leash."
With a consistent role and playing time with the Wizards this season, Kuzma could redeem himself and have a good campaign with his new team. Kuzma is expected to start on any of the forward positions alongside Wizards' promising young player Rui Hachimura.
