Kevin Garnett on LeBron James Leaving Cleveland For Miami: "We Broke LeBron, You Understand How He Got To Miami?"

The Boston Celtics Big Three against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers had been a common thing in the Eastern Conference playoffs in late 2000s.

And with those battles, the Celtics always went home victorious.

After multiple series of battles, LeBron then decided to take his talents in the South Beach to team up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.


In Garnett's interview with ‘The Bill Simons Podcast', the 2008 NBA champion claimed that LeBron went to Miami because the Celtics broke him.

"We broke LeBron You understand how he got to Miami? He was trying to consolidate because he didn't want the pressure on him. You understand?"


Well, it doesn't seem right hearing those words from Garnett as he also left the Minnesota Timberwolves to form a big three in Boston.
