Stephen Curry is without a doubt one of the best NBA players in league history and arguably the best shooter the NBA have ever seen.

Curry changed the way the game is played with his insane range. His three point shooting is out of this world. He influenced new generation of players and young NBA players to take more outside shots.

Young NBA stars like Luka Doncic, Donovan Micthell and Jayson Tatum have attempted a minimum of eight three point shot in 2020-2021 NBA season.

Curry and Damian Lillard led the lague in three-point shot attempts with 13.7 and 10.5, respectively and made threes with 5.3 and 4.1, respectively.

Curry led the league in scoring last season but his Warriors failed to make it to the playoffs. Stil, the two-time NBA MVP finished third place in the MVP results and could've won the award if his team made it at least top four in the Westernc Conference.

Recently, Kenny ‘The Jet@ Smith gave him a compliment that Michael Jordan fans won't agree with.

Smith compared Curry to Michael Jordan. In an episode of TNT's Inside the NBA, Smith said that the only difference between MJ and Curry was the way he dominated the league.

Curry's dominance is incredible; he shows his skills year after year, earning a lot of praise for his shooting talents and how great he is from beyond the arc. He has gotten a lot of compliments during his career, but maybe Kenny Smith gave him the best of all. Other than that, they're the same in all aspect.

"He's awesome. He's too deep. He's the Michael Jordan of this era without dunking a basketball. He shoots 3s, Michael Jordan dunks. It's the only difference."

The two dominated their eras in different method, Smith said of comparison.

Well it's just not a dunk for MJ. The accurate difference between Jordan and Curry is the range of their shooting.

MJ mastered his perimeter shots whether it's a fadeaway or a normal perimeter jumper. Curry dominated the league with his three point range.

Comparing the career stats of the two, Jordan has a career average of 1.7 attempts from behind the arc making just 0.5 of it while Curry on his 12 year NBA career so far averaged 8.6 attempts, making 3.7 of it. But Jordan attempted more than 21 two-point FG per game and made almost 11 out of it. Curry just made 4.6 two pointers on almost 9 attempts per game.

One more difference between the two is Jordan did it on both sides. He is a two-way player. Curry on the other hand, was never been a part of NBA All-Defensive teams. Jordan was named to nine NBA All-Defensive teams and won a Defensive Player Of the Year in 1988.

Nevertheless, both players have a legendary career and their great at their own thing. But you just can't compare Curry to the GOAT, Michael Jordan.
