The basketball world was shocked to hear that Kawhi Leonard suffered a torn ACL in the playoffs. An injury like that could cost Leonard the entire next season.

Even more shocking were the rumors that Leonard might look to switch teams soon and leave the Los Angeles Clippers. Although the Clippers have not yet achieved their full potential, people were surprised to hear that Leonard might cut and run, even with his injury.

But Clippers fans should rest easy, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Appearing on the Woj & Lowe Free Agency Special, the reporter said that Leonard is staying put.

"I've got no indication that Kawhi Leonard is interested in doing anything besides re-signing with the Clippers and rehabbing that injury," Woj said on the show.

Leonard has been with the Clips since 2019. His move - along with Paul George's - was supposed to mark the beginning of a new bright age for the Clippers. However, the team has repeatedly fallen short in the offseason and has yet to reach the NBA Finals.

There is a good chance that Leonard will not be around next season because of his injury. That means the Clippers might not perform at their peak yet again.
