Jae Crowder hints on IG of reuniting with former team

After going to back to back finals in 2020 and 2021, Jae Crowder is looking for a familiar challenge, get traded to a competitive team that has a chance to win it all after coming so close twice.

In 2020 he went to the NBA finals with the Miami Heat, losing to the Lakers in 6 games. Then the following year, he signed with the Suns and lost in the finals again, but this time to Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks. After a disappointing playoff season last year, where the Suns got embarrassed in back to back games to Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, Jae Crowder is meticulously looking for his next challenge.

It looks like Crowder has made up his mind and is not interested to returning back to the desert. He sent a cryptic tweet back earlier in August, saying that Change is a good thing.




Crowder left the Miami Heat in 2020 to then join the Suns. However, its looking like he would love a return to South Beach at this time. Jae Crowder pinned a fans tweet saying we need you in Miami.

Jae Crowder is the perfect role
player for todays NBA. He can shoot the 3, defend the perimeter and switch on defence. He didn't perform well in the previous season,averaging 9.4 points on below 40% shooting from both the field and 3.

Should a reunion happen with the Heat, it would surely elevate them as one of the favourites to reach the NBA finals in the East. With a healthy Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler and Bam, the Heat are looking like a force not to be messed with. Jae Crowder will add to depth to the bench they have, he already knows the system and is familiar with the Miami Heat way.
