Is Rockets Star John Wall "Almost Impossible" to Trade?

John Wall has made it abundantly clear that he wants to part ways with the Houston Rockets. Even though Wall put up an impressive 20.6 points, 6.9 assists, and 3.2 rebounds during his sole season in Houston, he still wants to leave H-Town as soon as possible.

But it's seeming less and less likely that he will get his wish.

According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, John Wall's desire to leave the Rockets is probably a pipe dream at this point. In fact, Woj predicts that Wall will be with Houston "for a while" unless he is willing to make some major concessions.

«I think trading John Wall, with two years left and over $90 million is almost impossible unless the Rockets, all of a sudden decide that they're willing to attach a number of first round picks and I don't see that scenario. I think he's going to be in Houston a while unless he's willing to take money and agree to a buyout, but he doesn't want to do that right now.»

Yes, Wall played pretty darn well in Houston this last season but was he playing well enough to get other major teams interested? Probably not.

Fun fact: Wall is the second-highest paid player in the NBA (second only to Steph Curry). His asking price of over $90 million is a lot for any team to swallow. In the end, it might be the reason he plays in Houston again this season.
