Is Rajon Rondo Heading Back to His Former Team?
It's been hard for Rajon Rondo to stay in one place for too long. He has moved around to multiple teams over the last few seasons. Most recently, he went from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Clippers to the Hawks and then was recently sent packing to the Memphis Grizzlies. However, there was a rumor that Rondo wouldn't stay in Memphis for long and probably wouldn't even play a game with the team.
Now comes word that Rajon Rondo might be returning to the team that gave him his latest championship ring: the Los Angeles Lakers. If Rondo does in fact return to the Lakers, he will be just one of many veteran players filling Los Angeles's roster. Between Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Marc Gasol, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and others, the team is filled with some of the most accomplished - and aged - players in the league.
Rondo would be another valuable asset to the team and would hopefully return to his former self. It's important to remember what a great playmaker Rondo used to be. Even a couple of years ago with the Lakers he was doing work that made younger players look downright incompetent.
