Have the 76ers Made a Decision About Ben Simmons?

One of the biggest questions of this NBA offseason has been where will the Philadelphia 76ers send Ben Simmons? It's no secret that they are not happy with Simmons and his performance last season, especially his utter collapse during the postseason. It seems that everyone who watches the NBA knows a trade is very, very likely.

And now it sounds like Philadelphia might have decided where to send Simmons. Next season, Simmons will probably play for...Philadelphia?

That's the scoop according to NBA insider Ramona Shelburne. She says the 7ers are thinking that will keep Simmons around for at least one more season.

While it's surprising to hear that Simmons might return to Philly, it's also not too much of a shock because, quite frankly, no one wanted him. The NBA market wasn't favorable to a Simmons trade and Philadelphia was having a challenging time finding a team willing to give them any players worth their time. In the end, the team probably decided to keep Simmons around and try to improve his game. If he gets better, that's great news for them. Plus, they can always ship him out later with a better trade value if he does improve his game a bit.

You can bet that many, many, many Philly fans will be quite upset about this move.
