Schröder is the subject of criticisms for the past few days after having a hard time finding a team that will offer him the a big contract or at least the same amount the Los Angeles Lakers had offered him.Schröder turned down a four-year, $84 million contract extension from the Lakers last March.
Many NBA fans criticized Schröder's move and said that he bet on himself so much that resulted to him losing a big amount of money.
Shaquille O'Neal is one of his critics and even posted a photo of Schroder's signing on his Instagram. O'Neal added insult when he put a caption of:
"Things that make you go hmmm"
Schröder can't help himself but to respond to his critiques and haters sent a message to his hater on his Instagram story. He's telling his haters to "keep that same energy" when he plays for his new team Boston Celtics and he is about to prove them wrong.
Schröder could still earn a lucrative deal that he is looking for which is about $100-$120 million. Only if he play like his old self back on his Hawks and Thunder days and if he'll not disappear for him team in the playoffs.
The 27-year-old point guard hurt his free agency value after having a poor performance in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs between his former team Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.
