Dennis Schroder Gives A New Message To His Haters
Dennis Schroder isn't done throwing shots at his haters.
Schroder has been the target of haters and critiques after turning down a four-year, $84 million contract extension from the Los Angeles Lakers last March. Instead, he settled for a one-year, $5.9 million contract to play for the Boston Celtics.Schroder loses a lot of guaranteed money by betting so much on himself. He thought that he was worth $100-$120 million this free agency.
Schroder will continue to be bashed by the haters on social media.
The 27-year-old point guard fired back again at his haters on Instagram
"Progress is a slow process! Can't focus on the baggage! See what's about to happen next!"
His wife was actually the first one to clap back at the critics. Here's her post on the subject:
Ellen Schröder, his wife, posted a message this week for his haters.
"I'm so proud of my husband that he made this decision to stay true to himself and to fight for his goals and his vision. I know not everyone understand this... They would choose money before anything else... But let me tell you: Show some love, be patient and watch what happens next."
Schroder will have a fresh start with the Boston Celtics and will try to get a shot on a big contract next free agency. Let's see if he can finally get the big bag next year.
