After spending three seasons with San Antonio Spurs, DeMar DeRozan has decided to moved on.

The former NBA All-Star was dealt to Chicago Bulls via sign-and-trade in exchange for Thad Young, Al Farouq-Aminur and a future first round pick.

DeRozan's time in San Antonio is not as impactful as his time with the Toronto Raptors missing two straight playoffs.

His game improved with Gregg Popovich though as he became a better facilitator.

The 31-year-old forward issued a heartfelt goodbye message to the Spurs organization and it's fans.

I want to take the time to thank the Spurs organization and the fans in San Antonio for embracing me the way that they have over the past 3 seasons. The Spurs lived up to their reputation as one of the classiest organizations in the league during my time with the team.

I'm grateful for the times I shared with my teammates, our coaches and staff. THANK YOU!

DeRozan will have a chance to compete again in the playoffs with his new team Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are winning the free agency this year, getting the services of Lonzo Ball, Derozan and Alex Caruso.

Lasts season, DeRozan averaged 20.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game on 49.5% shooting with the Spurs.
