Communication Between Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers has Been "Cut Off"

According to Jason Dumas, Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers aren't particularly buddy-buddy right now. The reporter says that the star NBA player isn't communicating with his team and is essentially demanding to be sent to the Golden State Warriors.

As noted in that tweet, Simmons doesn't have a lot of leverage to demand a trade to Golden State. As has been mentioned many times before, the trade market isn't very favorable to Simmons. Why? Because essentially no team wants him. But Simmons is obviously incredibly unhappy with Philly and wants to move out of there as soon as possible.

It's still likely that Simmons stays put in Philadelphia. The simple truth is that his agent might end up taking the best deal possible, which could be with the 76ers. But there is also a good chance that this next season will be very awkward for both the 76ers and Simmons, especially if a lack of communication continues.
