The Lakers went out to lose the series in 6 games. He added that given Davis history of injuries, the deal will good for the Lakers in the long term run.
Lillard will turn 31 years old this year while Davis is 28 years old now but Lillard just missed 14 regular season games in the past 3 seasons.
"This is not a 5 year league anymore. It's year-to-year league... I would do it tomorrow."
He said that James' need three things on his career right now. A guy that can play every game, a committed player like him and somebody that can lead the floor. He said that Lillard possess all of this while Davis is not.
Lillard was spotted at a WNBA game with James earlier this week sparking trade rumors to Lakers.
Lakers' fans would love to see a trio of James, Lillard and Davis in L.A. But it seems that team doesn't have the assets to acquire the services of the Blazers' superstar except if the Lakers want to trade Anthony Davis.
